April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Each April, Kelly Johnson runs a Writers for Hope auction to benefit Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network (RAINN). This year's auction is happening now, with lots of items to bid on! I've donated a signed copy of Pandemic along with a Bookshop gift card. (Did you know that Pandemic addresses the issue of sexual assault? The teal-shaded cover is an intentional nod to the teal ribbon used for sexual assault awareness.)

Are you a risk-taker when writing? Do you try something radically different in style, POV, etc.?
I do like to explore different forms. For example, lately I’ve been fascinated with second-person storytelling, and I’m experimenting with a novel in verse. I also find that short stories are a fun way to try new things without a novel-length commitment. How about you?
